Mike is a professional engineer and is certified as a Road Safety Professional (RSP).

He has 35 years of traffic engineering and transportation planning work and leadership with a successful blend of technical, management, and communication skills.

His focus has been on traffic safety for all road users, and he has a brilliant track record of developing highly productive and motivated project teams made up of staff and partnering agencies from multiple disciplines with various skill levels.

Mike’s excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills have helped over 100 agencies achieve their transportation goals. He has conducted 95 RSAs throughout Arizona and numerous other studies including traffic, pedestrian and bicyclist safety/circulation, crash locations prioritization and hazard ranking, speed, signal warrants, network screening, parking circulation, origin/destination and traffic impact studies.
